The newsgroups are not accessible via nntp: Connection to server news.eclipse.org timed out.

With the failure of build.eclipse.org the new service has been taken offline(same host).  We're working on provisioning a new server.

Any ETA? It "looks" like the server is back but no new messages. The web forum shows them though.

This is the same hassle I went through last month when I upgraded the build server.  The NNTP server is a relic of the 80's and is very difficult to work with.  I'll try to get it going today, but I'll have to find a suitable replacement.  This is just crazy.

I think news.eclipse.org is happy (happier, anyway) now.  Reopen if I've missed anything.
