Description arne anka CLA 2010-09-17 09:16:28 EDT
Build Identifier: I20100608-0911

new task->private->scheduled->due: a calendar pops up. after selecting a date, the calendar stays open.
instead it should close.
- you can't select more than one day anyway
- there's no obvious way to close the calendar, one has to click outside, being unsure, if that means "cancel selection" or not.

Reproducible: Always

The reason that it stays open is that it allows you to select a date and time. Closing on the first click would make it impossible to set both without reopening the picker. Does that make sense?
Comment 2 arne anka CLA 2010-09-22 06:35:44 EDT
somewhat., but it seems to be contrary to the usual procedures.
i'd expect it to select more than one field by doing
ctrl+click
like one does with multiple select.
Comment 3 Steffen Pingel CLA 2010-09-22 17:28:42 EDT
My sense is that Ctrl+click would be very difficult to discover. I'll mark this bug as wontfix but please feel free to reopen if you have other suggestions how to improve the interaction.
