As far as I can see, the class 
   org.eclipse.tm.internal.terminal.control.impl.TerminalInputStream
is obsolete and should be removed.

It contains some code copied from Doug Lea
  	 http://gee.cs.oswego.edu/dl/cpj/allcode.java
	 http://gee.cs.oswego.edu/dl/cpj/
	 
There is some other code that contains a copy of the same Doug Lea code
  org.eclipse.tm.internal.terminal.textcanvas.PipedInputStream

Fixed in TM Terminal 4.0
