Build Identifier: 3.4 During the plugin development, we are using the plugin org.eclipse.equinox.http.jetty as our web server, and lunch the html files, which located in other plugins. In eclipse 3.4 IDE, we can run or debug it by starting the bunch of plugins using osgi framework way. However, when we try to start this osgi framework in profiling way, the process will be terminated, after the server startup. So, we can only see the profiling data during server starting. No data can be corrected, after the server startup. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Import a bunch of plugins, include org.eclipse.equinox.http.jetty into workspace 2. Create a new osgi framework mode in the run dialog 3. Jetty server started, and web applications running correctly. 4. Stop the running in workbench. 5. Click the profiling button in the toolbar of workbench. 6, Choose the same osgi framework mode, and start tptp profiling. 7, TPTP profiling collect the data during the server starting. 8, Server terminated after the startup succcess. 9, No data can be collected during accessing the web applications, after server startup.
I was able to generate a crash with AC 4.4.1 using execution time analysis. The crash occurs in CGProf and based on the dumped core, it appears to be the same as bug 284838. I could not reproduce the same crash using 4.6.2 or later. Can you please try with a newer Agent Controller? /mike.
Pardon me, the previous bug reference is not correct. It seems to have been fixed with bug 282531. So 4.5.2.1 and later should have the fix. /mike.
Marking as a duplicate of 282531. Please re-open if you are still able to reproduce on latest release. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 282531 ***
