Description Ayushman Jain CLA 2010-09-15 04:40:43 EDT
When the open from clipboard finds more than one match for the content copied into clipboard ,say, from a stacktrace (eg. String.valueat method), it shows them in a dialogue.

In case I dont know which result is the right one, i'll open them one by one to check until I land up on the desired result. To do this currently, i'll have to repeat the copy from clipboard action several times. If the results were populated in a search view instead of a dialog, it'll be more convenient for me to browse the different search results without losing them at first click.

Minor severity since such use cases will be rare.

No plans to do this: you can multi-select the entries and open them all at once. And as you said: the case is rare.
