Description Denis Roy CLA 2010-09-14 10:26:46 EDT
A talk type has a name, a number of minutes and an internal value. For instance:

Type: Short Minutes: 25 Internal Type: submission

The internal type is hardcoded in various places in the sub system (and possibly the site). We should either add some documentation on-screen to guide the user in typing the correct value (who knows "Short" talk are of the type "submission"?) or render the internal type as a drop-down field of values.

I've added some wording to make this clear. This makes me sufficiently happy for now.

Yep, the internal type stuff was very confusing. Thanks for adding the wording to the sub sys interface. Perhaps we could also add something to the wiki about what the internal types do and/or mean?
