Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
  Software being installed: Mylyn Connector: Hudson 0.1.0.I20100912-2300-e3x (org.eclipse.mylyn.hudson.feature.group 0.1.0.I20100912-2300-e3x)
  Missing requirement: Mylyn Hudson Connector 0.1.0.I20100912-2300-e3x (org.eclipse.mylyn.hudson.ui 0.1.0.I20100912-2300-e3x) requires 'bundle org.eclipse.mylyn.commons.team 0.0.0' but it could not be found
  Cannot satisfy dependency:
    From: Mylyn Connector: Hudson 0.1.0.I20100912-2300-e3x (org.eclipse.mylyn.hudson.feature.group 0.1.0.I20100912-2300-e3x)
    To: org.eclipse.mylyn.hudson.ui [0.1.0.I20100912-2300-e3x]

I always get the above dependency resolution error when trying to install the hudson connector into eclipse 3.6, with helios Mylyn installed.   I tried both the update site on the web, and the p2 zipped site, both give the same issue.

Do you have both the main weekly update site and the incubator site enabled?

the P2 zip isn't available, http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/tools/mylyn/update/weekly/mylyn-latest-e3.4.zip

Returns me a 404.

I'll try adding the update site directly.

Thanks for pointing that out. The URL has changed to http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/tools/mylyn/update/weekly/mylyn-latest.zip . I'll update the page accordingly.

Okay, adding the weekly site helped.  Might want to make a note that the weekly/incubator also needs items from the weekly site as well to the page.

You need both in order to install correctly.

Great that you got it working. Maybe it should even include the main site since it's a composite repository anyways. I'll bring this up on an upcoming Mylyn call.
