Build Identifier: 20100617-1415 Sometimes when I want to perform an action like Copy & Paste on the project tree in the Package Explorer, it tells me, that the ressource is out of sync with the filesystem. All I can and have to do, is, to confirm the message dialog, select the project's root and hit F5 and perform my action again. It would be good, if the dialog, that tells me about the ressource being out of sync, would provide an option to refresh the ressource or the whole project. Actually this situation should only happen, if I modify the resource in the filesystem without refreshing it in the Package Explorer. But in many cases this happens even if I didn't do any action, that could unsync the ressource. And if Eclipse is able to tell, that the ressource is out of sync, it could easily sync automatically at least when it needs to to perform a certain operation. Reproducible: Sometimes
Indeed, it would be nice to offer something like "Refresh & Proceed". > But in many cases this happens even if I didn't do any action, That should not happen. Steps? > it could >easily sync automatically at least when it needs to to perform a certain >operation. You can enable refresh automatically (General > Workspace).
