It would be useful for migration of old workflows to have an automatic conversion that produces the corresponding .mwe2 file from an .oaw or .mwe file. The action could be integrated in the Refactor menu, or context menu when selecting the file.

Besides the creation of the file also the plugin dependencies have to be adjusted.

dont think anybody needs this 10 years later
