Build 20030220 Given the CVS repository explorer is somewhat a navigator, it would be nice if it could support to show me an edited file into the explorer, so as to quickly act on it (I would expect it to find the actual shared one by default, i.e. HEAD, but down the road maybe it could also offer to find it in other branches - deluxe).
Just by curiosity, what will you do with the file you find in the CVS repo view? I'm asking because it's somewhat expensive to build the remote tree of resources on the server. However if what you would use "show in" for is to perform Team operations from within an editor then I would vote instead to simply have the Team menu available from within an editor (there's another PR about this already).
I wanted to tag with existing version a shared file, and had to manually find it which is quite painful remotely.
This bug has not been touched for 2 years. Closing as WONTFIX. Please reopen if you feel this is still an important issue.
