However there's "try { " in line 289, the nearest rollback statement is found in line 298. Looks like it's a wrong version of Eclipselink (or at least ProxyAuthenticationServerTestSuite).

The exception is thrown by rollback. Does it mean Glassfish just can't rollback user transaction? To confirm (or deny) this assumption please run a simple test on GF that would just begin transaction, then rollback it.
