Hi there, 

When loading an EEFTreeMDFormPage, I notice that selection of elements in the tree is slow (The wait cursor appears). This is not the case with the regular EMF tree selection editor. It seems something is happening holding the UI thread. 

any thoughts?

The Eclipse EEF team has worked over the past few months on a brand new runtime using a reflective approach which can be used more easily with Eclipse Sirius. Since we do not plan to continue to work on the old runtime and its code generation approach, I will close this issue for now.

The new runtime does not have any tree for now but we will keep this issue in mind when we will start working on a tree based widget.
