Build Identifier: M20091008-1320 Customer has a datapool with 345 columns in the CSV file. When this CSV file is imported into RFT 8.1, only 327 columns headers are displayed rest of the columns are loaded but with invisible column headers. To make it visible we need to compress the columns I,e need to push the column to the left or reduce the width of the columns of the datapool. Please find attached the screenshot for the same and also the CSV file. Customer’s requirement is to have the invisible columns headers to visible as any other visible column headers. Additional info --------------- The same behaviour is observed in RPT as well. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Import the attached Datapool.csv file into RFT 2.Scroll to the end and observe that there is no column header.

I'm not sure what "RFT" is - but maybe this is ODA related?
I don't think this is ODA-related. RFT is IBM Rational Functional Tester. And RPT is IBM Rational Performance Tester. Kavitha, I'm not sure what a "datapool" is; that's not a term we use in DTP. You will need to describe your problem in more detail so we can see whether it has anything to do with DTP or not. What action did you use to import the file? And what part of the UI did not show the column headers when you scrolled it?
Hi Brian Thank you for the response. You are correct the reported issue is observed in RFT (Rational Functional Tester) and RPT (Rational Performance Tester). In Rational Functional Tester, data-driven testing can be implemented via datapools, which are collections of related data records that supply values for the variables in a test script during script playback. You can refer to the following link for more information on datapools http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rational/library/05/1108_kelly/ We had escalated this issue to RFT product Development team and they informed that the data pool editor (where the issue is observed) which we use in the RFT is from TPTP components. Steps to reproduce the issue --------------------------- 1) After installing RFT create a new project File -> New -> Functional Test Project. Key in the project name and go with the default settings. 2) Now in the workspace right click on the project and select ‘Import’ Then select Functional Test -> Functional Test Datapool click ‘next’ browse to the Datapool.csv(File attached) 3) The ‘Test Datapool Editor’ opens, now scroll to the end of the file. You can notice that Column header is displayed till ‘327::java.lang.String’ the columns after this does not have Column header. However if you resize the column width you would be able to see the other column header as ‘328::java.lang.String’ and so on. Hope this helps. Please let me know in case you require more information. Thanks, Kavitha
OK, no wonder we didn't understand the issue. Please change the "Product" specifier for this bug to the appropriate TPTP value. It looks like this doesn't have anything to do with the DTP project.
Hi Please let me know if there is any update on this issue. Thanks, Kavitha
Paul, Please take a look and assess the problem.
This has been addressed in TPTP 4.7.0 (see https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=250751#c21 and https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=250751#c25). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 250751 ***
This defect had been resolved as DUPLICATE for more than 3 months. Closing this on the reporter's behalf. Please verify with the latest TPTP 4.7.2 driver and re-open if this is still a problem. TPTP 4.7.2 driver can be downloaded from: http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/downloads/?ver=4.7.2
