Crash on startup with messages like these. Has support for OS X PPC been officially dropped. If so, I will stick with Eclipse 3.5 for now. !SESSION 2010-09-02 22:23:45.649 ----------------------------------------------- eclipse.buildId=unknown java.version=1.5.0_19 java.vendor=Apple Computer, Inc. BootLoader constants: OS=macosx, ARCH=ppc, WS=carbon, NL=en_US Framework arguments: -product org.eclipse.epp.package.java.product Command-line arguments: -os macosx -ws carbon -arch ppc -product org.eclipse.ep p.package.java.product !ENTRY org.eclipse.osgi 4 0 2010-09-02 22:23:48.674 !MESSAGE Bundle reference:file:ch.qos.logback.classic_0.9.19.v20100519-1505.jar@ 4 not found.
Can you attach the complete log? The message in comment 0 indicates that there is an entry on the osgi.bundles list specified in the config.ini which does not exist in the installation. Is this a vanilla install of the EPP for java development?
Created attachment 178113 [details] Crash report I have now added the full crash report generated by eclipse
Not reproducible, and Carbon is no longer supported. Try Eclipse Cocoa builds.
