When "Activity diagram" is created, it creates "Activity" first then creates the diagram under the "Activity".

Now, when "Activity" is deleted from the model explorer without closing the activity diagram from "model.di" (main panel showing the diagram), both the "Activity" and its "Activity diagram" gets deleted in the model explorer but the "Activity diagram" remain in the "model.di" and throws "org.eclipse.core.runtime.AssertionFailedException: null argument:"

Fixed in 0.10 in the subtasks of Bug 398712 (Bug 348689)
