Created attachment 177813 [details] Sketch of a Builds View with an extended tree I'd like to see the builds of a job below the job node in the Builds View. Optionally the contents of a build would be very nice. This spares me switching to other views (repo view?) or editors. It would further make it easy to trigger comparisons of builds or copy artifacts into the workspace.
I do recognize the need for adding a facility for comparing builds but my sense is that a potentially deeply nested tree that exposes build details would be difficult to navigate. This is along our general goal of limiting nesting in structured views to one level: http://wiki.eclipse.org/Mylyn/UI_Design#Avoid_Hierarchies . I would be open to discussing a facility to drilling into build details for the repositories view which is similar to the Git and CVS views that are intended for browsing structure.
