Many visual editors can automatically arrange the shapes into a sensible form when you right click on the canvas and select something like 'arrange all'. This might be useful for JPA diagram as well.

Not too important but nice to have. Probably underlying platform (Graphiti? GMF?) can easily enable this...

Along the same line, when you drag and drop a lot of entities to a diagram they all appear in the same location. An automatic 'arrange all' on those entities would be nice.
