Description Pavel Samolisov CLA 2010-08-30 05:43:27 EDT
We have content assist in XHTML editor for beans are defined in faces-config.xml, i.e.

faces-config.xml:

<managed-bean>
    <managed-bean-name>dukesBirthdayBean</managed-bean-name>
    <managed-bean-class>name.samolisov.firstcup.web.bean.DukesBirthdayManagedBean</managed-bean-class>
    <managed-bean-scope>request</managed-bean-scope>
</managed-bean>

in index.xhtml:

<h:outputText value="#{dukesBirthday|

press ctrl+space and get variant dukesBirthdayBean

But if bean is defined by annotation:

@ManagedBean(name="controller")
@SessionScoped
public class SimpleController
{
...

content assist in xhtml editor does not work: I write <... value="#{control| press ctrl+space but I does not get any variants.
