At the moment there is no tooling in jdt to trigger save actions on all java files in the workspace. If I add a new save action, for example a code formatter, and I want to apply it to all my java files, I have to open and save all of
them manually. This is not really convenient. Therefore I implemented a small plugin. Once installed you´ll find a new entry in the project menu called "Apply Save Actions". Just hit it and all save actions will be applied to all java files.
Perhaps you´re interested in a tool like this as part of jdt. What do you think?

That's the point of 'Save Actions'. What you are looking for is a clean up. Please take a closer look at those.
