Description tymtheenchanter CLA 2010-08-22 19:06:06 EDT
It is not possible to set up a Trac task repository with a username & no password.

I have a setup, where we have users with no password for trac and the repository setup wizard does not allow a blank password, even though the validate function returns success.

Additionally, it does not seem to be possible to store a blank password.

It would be good to be able to finish the setup wizard if the validate action succeeds, as well and to allow blank passwords (& their storage) .

Interesting. It seems unusual that accounts don't have passwords but it would make sense to support this case in the framework.

Out of curiosity, do you do any kind authentication or is knowledge of a username sufficient to connect to the repository?
