Description Anirudh Sasikumar CLA 2010-08-20 06:33:02 EDT
Build Identifier: 20100617-1415

Cocoa only: Command C,V,X do not work in the text field of a SWT.SAVE FileDialog opened from a preference page. Right click -> copy paste options work, but since right click is off by default on a Mac, it might be a less frequent path.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to Eclipse -> Preferences -> Java -> Code Style -> Code Templates.
2. Pick a template, say Comments -> Types.
3. Click on Export.
4. Try using Command C,X,V in the "save as" text field. They won't work, but right click copy, paste options will work.

This is bug 280202. I'm not convinced that the keyboard accelerators for editing always work by default in a text field on the Mac.
