The details provided in Help > About Eclipse > Installation Details > Configuration.

I downloaded Eclipse 3.6 from www.eclipse.org, extracted it and launched it. After a while I realized that Eclipse was not running in a JDK so I installed JDK 1.5 from Oracle and modified eclipse.ini adding

-vm
/usr/java/jdk1.5.0_22/bin/java

to the beginning of the file, but when I started Eclipse OpenJDK was still used. You can see the installation details information in the attachement.

Running Eclipse with "./eclipse -vm /usr/java/jdk1.5.0_22/bin/java" picks the correct JVM.

I'm using Fedora 13 on a 32-bit system with openjdk-1.6-jre.

Let me know if there's something I should add to this report.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
