The FeatureGenerator spawns a nested generator when adding extra content.
There are two problems here, 
1) the nested generator does not have the pluginPath set, so some bundles are not being resolved.
2) the resulting site from the nested generator is lost and a new site is recreated in the outer geneator.  We should reuse the nested site as recreating sites is expensive.
