Description Navid Mehregani CLA 2010-08-11 13:57:05 EDT
Build Identifier:

In the past, the project folder used to get updated when a Facet was activated. The project folder would add the facet name to its label. TS Explorer is no longer doing this.

Also the model elements are not properly grayed out in the Explorer as they used to be. After playing around with this for a while they were grayed out, but when I deactivated the facet, they were STILL grayed out. There is definitely a refresh problem with this.

These are most likely a regression of bug#317761

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a facet in your project
2. Activate the facet. Notice the project folder name not getting updated and the model elements are not grayed out as they're supposed to be.

Fixed.

The project folder name now gets updated properly. However, there is still a problem with elements getting grayed out in TS Explorer. Try the following:

- Create a new TS Project
- Create two packages under its 'src' folder:
   com.mycompany.blah
   org.eclipse.blah
- Create an Entity artifact under each pacakge:
   com.mycompany.blah
      MyCompanyEntity
   org.eclipse.blah
      EclipseEntity
- Create a new Facet under 'src' folder
- Under Scope page, specify com.mycompany.* under Excluded patterns
- Activate the facet by right clicking on it > Facet > Mark as active. Notice the project label correctly getting updated with the Facet name. However, 'MyCompanyEntity' is not grayed out in TS Explorer as expected. Closing and reopening TS Explorer will resolve the issue.

OK, initially we've updated only project labels and now we update all elements. The scenario works as expected.
