Hello,

I'am working with BIRT 2.3 (all in one) and a sqlite data base. Everything works fine.
After starting BIRT 2.6.0 (all in one) and opening the report the Birt designer crash after some changes on the report. If I restart BIRT 2.6 Designer, it crash's after one click on the report. Same crashes on BIRT 2.5.2.

I have attached a logfile from eclipse, a sample report design file, a sample database and the jdbc driver.

Crashes occurs after editing of data source in sample design file. If you added the correct path to sample db file and opens some working datasets a crash should occur.

I can not reproduce this issue with 2.6.0 release.

I can preview the dataset using the attached db and report design.

Hello,

my sample report crashes after open the second dataset in "Data Explorer" view. The first data set named "Mandant_und_Stichtag" opens correctly. If I try to open data set "WP-Klasse" or change something on the charts it crashes. On Suse Linux I get no crashes.

Do you have the crash on windows after restart the eclipse?
I do met the crash in 2.6.0 release on windows, but only for the first time. After restart eclipse, the crash can not be reproduce.

Yes, it crashes after restart. I have reproduced this on Windows XP and Windows Vista.

It's strange that I can not stably reproduce the crash in my env (windows xp).
I tried the latest 2.6.1 build and I don't met the crash.
Do you have any chance to try the latest 2.6.1 build to see if it has been fixed?

In Birt 2.6.1 nightly build I cant reproduce this crash. It seems to be fixed :-)
