Build Identifier: I20100608-0911 This error only appeared in 3.6, was not present in 3.5. There is a work around that is to refresh the entire project. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start a new project with an hpp file in it. 2. Close Eclipse. 3. Invalidate the file by changing it. 4. Start Eclipse. 5. Press 'F5'. nothing happens.
This works for me on Windows, but fails on Linux (RHEL4). File > Refresh works, though, so this might be a key binding issue. The same happens also with plain text files and Java files, so it is a Platform issue.
It also happens on Ubuntu804 (helios 3.6.1).
Might be related to bug 329199 which was recently fixed. PW
Remy believes this is likely dupe of bug 327842, and this does seem to be working again in 3.7M4+. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 327842 ***
I use helios cdt 3.6.2 (eclipse-cpp-helios-SR2-linux-gtk), the problem still exists.
