Some distributions package SWT separately from Eclipse. For these distros, it would be nice if Eclipse Build could be configured to omit SWT from the build.

The Gentoo ebuild currently does this (in a rather crude way) by removing from the build.xml all <ant> elements that contain the string "swt". While this does work, it is obviously fragile.

Please provide a patch or close the bug if you would not work on this. This bug stayed open long enough and noone spend time on it.

Eclipse build system has changed and eclipse-build will serve only as a helper. There will be no logic there.
