Exactly like bug #285092, we should be able to change the external memory map of ti.platforms.evm6472 from config.bld. Currently I get this error when I try: error: ti.platforms.evm6472.Platform: "/db/rtree/install/trees/products/xdcprod/xdcprod-m51/product/Linux/xdctools_3_20_01_51/packages/ti/platforms/evm6472/Platform.xs", line 178: ti.platforms.evm6472.Platform.Instance#0 : External memory cannot be changed on this platform js: "/db/rtree/install/trees/products/xdcprod/xdcprod-m51/product/Linux/xdctools_3_20_01_51/packages/xdc/cfg/Main.xs", line 116: Error: Configuration failed! We should consider looking for similar unnecessarily restrictive code throughout our existing platforms.
- fixed in platform-m02 The fix should be implemented in other platforms with similar restrictions following the example given in this bug.
Should fix ti.platforms.evm6474 as well.
Added the fix for evm6474 in platform-l26 and platform-m07. In evm6472 in platform-m07, added back the support for 'args', which was removed in platform-m02.
Verified with XDC 3.20.05.75_eng build. Using 'externalMemoryMap' (rather than 'customMemoryMap' workaround) to configure both evm6472 and evm6474 platforms was successful.
Shipped in XDCtools 3.21.
