In CTabRendering, the background of the tab items is hard coded (e.g. white for selected items in line 372.

This looks weird in dark themes (see attached screen shots)

A simple solution would be to introduce a css property that only supports plain colors.

A better solution would be to also support gradients, but this is a more complicated.

This was fixed some time ago.
