Let's try EMF Compare of a model for some reason cannot be correctly loaded. In this case EMF Compare shows the follwing error message:
"Comparison through EMF Compare failed. Switch to text comparison using rge drop down menu in the editor"
Then the user selects "Text Compare" from "Visualization of structural differences" list, it works fine. 

However, it's not easy to find this action from first attempt. Besides, it requires three mouse clicks instead of one. I suggest to replace the text "Switch to text comparison using rge drop down menu in the editor" with a button "Text Compare" performing the switch.

Unfortunately, we cannot do anything to ease the process, as we are totally dependent of Platform/Compare on this and we have no way to programmatically relaunch a comparison using another engine.

Marking as WONTFIX, though it should read "CANNOTFIX".
