1. use the following line in the editor
 $a = ftp_connect(|)

2. where the | char is located click Ctrl+Space

3. cursor moves to unexpectedlocation

fixed in head and branch

after fixing this issue there is another issue:
$a = ftp_connect(|) will become:
$a = ftp_connect($host)) //there is another ")" at the end.
