Build Identifier: 3.6 - I20100507

The org.eclipse.gmf.runtime.common.ui.resources.IFileObserver notification has been modified.
A Save on the resource is now being reported as a file change by GMF. This is generating more events than GMF had broadcasted in the past.

Reproducible: Always

This was caused by the change in Bugzilla 300100 in IES 3.5 M3 .

The change is valid, when you save, the file on the filesystem has changed and you are notified through the IFileObserver.

I debugged two of our GMF Editors. The first editor does not care about these events. The second one does and requires the existing code to be there.

So this becomes a no plan to fix.

Since you are at IBM, I can send you some code from our editor to work around the issue.
