Build Identifier: 201003230009 When connecting to a server that's unavailable, the Progress view shows commit sitting at 0%. It took almost 3 minutes for an error message about being unable to connect to appear. While it was happening, I could not do any build-related actions. While waiting, I thought it may have been Eclipse 3.6 and the new STS being funky, but our SVN server was down. It would be nice to specify the timeout interval as I feel it's currently too long. Subversive 2.2.2.120100512-1900 SVNKit 1.3.2 r6267 (for SVN 1.6.6) Ubuntu 9.10 SVN 1.6.5 Linux dm-steven 2.6.31-22-generic #60-Ubuntu SMP Thu May 27 02:41:03 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Connect to a server that has gone down 2. Commit is shown in the progress bar as 0% 3. Cannot complete any user actions. Cancelling the commit does nothing until the connection times out and an error message is shown.
Same thing on Mac. Hangs on opening eclipse. To reproduce: 1. checkout some project (I used ssh+svn, maybe this is important). 2. exit Eclipse 3. disconnect from network or kill repository server 4. restart Eclipse -> hangs.
I've tried it with the latest SVN Kit connector (1.3.6.1) since SVN+SSH support was reworked in this version and it seems the problem disappeared.
