- create a site.xml
- add a category
- add a feature to the category
- build all

=> you get a great  update site

- delete the denerated files
- build all

==> now you get a broken update site! (of you install it there are no categories)

Solution:
  change the dates of the features from
   
   features/my.feature_1.0.0.201002221303.jar
back to
   features/my.feature_1.0.0.qualifier.jar

Then the update sites generates categories as expected....

Strange... the same (likely old) bug reported in two consecutive days.  The other one has an example project, so I'll close this as the dup.

would this be a sign that the moment of fixing this (old) bug has come? ;-)
