Build Identifier: 20100218-1602 The program 'Eclipse' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'RenderBadPicture (invalid Picture parameter)'. (Details: serial 11113 error_code 172 request_code 152 minor_code 7) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: This will be taken at any point i.e. Create new class in the project. In the editor press ctrl+space then select an method entry i.e. "clone()". Than go at end of super.clone() and press dot. Than select a method i.e. "equals()" and press return. This kills Eclipse. Somtime any double click on an entry in a list selection dialog will do the same effect. I do not know if the developers of Eclipse have noticed it. There are many companies already use the Eclipse IDE in a productive environment for developing applications and other things. This is not a quality product. A stringent quality control is probably appropriate. An even more stringent cooperation with other open source projects from the Eclipse (eg GTK) depends, must necessarily. Eclipse is not an experimental toy lawn! Sorry that's must be told.
