Deployment Assembly page allows to add EAR Libraries/Web App Libraries in EAR project. Once you add it in EAR there is nothing you can do with them.

This issue was already solved by the "Java Build path entries" feature, which is not enabled for EAR projects. This was handled by https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=318068
