Build Identifier: I20100331-2220 The issue is sometimes the title displayed in the header of a SharedHeaderFormEditor does not show all the text. I've tried this on Redhat EL 5 Linux and Windows XP SP2. On Windows the issue does not happen, but on Linux it does. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Import the attached plug-in. This is a plug-in based on the Multi page editor plug-in project template. 2. Open MultiPageEditor.java and scroll all the way to the bottom. Notice the title is being set to "CompositeT: hi" 2. Launch a runtime workbench. 3. In the runtime workbench create a project and a file with a mpe extension. 4. Open the mpe editor. Notice the word "hi" does not appear in the title. 5. In the java file, remove the 'T' character. That is, set the title to be "Composite: hi" 6. In the runtime workbench, close and reopen the mpe editor. Notice the complete title is displayed.

This looks similar to Bug 313703 - do you think it is the same problem?
It does sound similar. I'm fine with making this defect a duplicate of it if you want. Once the fix for the other defect is available I'll test my scenario.
This was fixed recently, see Bug 342610. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 342610 ***
