Created attachment 174818 [details] patch Currently, e4 uses system cursors for DND'ing parts. These should be replaced by the cursors used in 3.6. The attached patch uses the class DragCursors copied from the "org.eclipse.ui.workbench" bundle, and adapted to e4. The patch does not contain the cursor images, because CVS patches cannot contain binary resources. The files can be found in the "org.eclipse.ui" bundle under "icons/full/pointer". This folder needs to be copied to bundle "org.eclipse.e4.ui.workbench.addons.swt". Note: The patch also contains one line of code to fix bug 320341 and two lines of code to fix bug 320338, both related to drag and drop.
Boris and Susan, any chance to get this into RC3?

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie.
