Description Matthias Albert CLA 2010-07-19 12:12:17 EDT
Build Identifier: I20100608-0911

The EMF API Reference documentation is missing in Eclipse Help and in the Helios Online documentation.

Details:

In the Galileo release this link was present:
http://help.eclipse.org/galileo/topic/org.eclipse.emf.doc/references/javadoc/overview-summary.html

The corresponding link in Eclipse Helios is missing.

It very inconvenient to look for the documentation at other places.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Menu Help / Help Contents
2. Click on EMF Developer Guide
3. missing "Reference" entry

We decided to remove the Javadoc from the EMF Help in the 2.6.0 release for several reasons:

- it unnecessarily bloats downloads/updates
- the Javadoc view in Eclipse can be used to dynamically render it from source bundles
- it's available online at http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/emf/javadoc/2.6.0/
