I really love the new feature Quick Outline for tasks (Ctrl-O) and have been a long time for it to be implemented. But now the WikiText Quick Outline has gone. I used it to navigate between different sections in a ticket description. I really miss it for Local task, because the Ctrl-O for tasks stays empty here, on the other hand the WikiText outline is also missing. Please provide a solution, ideally for 3.4.1: # Different short-cut key, e.g. Shift-Ctrl-O to get the WikiText outline (3.4.1?) # Merge the Task outline and the WikiText outline (3.5?) Thanks, Jörg. -- Configuration Details -- Product: Eclipse 1.3.0.20100617-0521 (org.eclipse.epp.package.jee.product) Installed Features: org.eclipse.mylyn_feature 3.4.0.v20100608-0100-e3x
Please, could you consider this for 3.4.1, at least a first step into that direction?
Jörg, thanks for the bug. Unfortunately it's a little late for 3.4.1. This is related to bug 261370.
Steffen, any suggestions for a good hotkey combination? It seems that Ctrl+Shift+O would not conflict.
Sounds good to me.

Added quick outline keybinding CTRL+SHIFT+O (Command+Shift+O on a mac)

Could we have this for the 3.4.1 patch, please?

David, I assume this was committed to head although no milestone is set. Are you okay with back porting this change to 3.4.1? Seems reasonable low risk to me.
As per discussion with David, I have committed the fix to the e_3_6_m_3_4_x branch as well.
