Description Andrew Niefer CLA 2010-07-14 14:14:37 EDT
help.eclipse.org/helios does not appear to contain the final Helios help for some of the SDK doc bundles.

For example:
The Platform Plug-in Developer Guide is missing
> Programmer's Guide > Provisioning platform, p2 > API Overview
should be at
http://help.eclipse.org/helios/index.jsp?topic=/org.eclipse.platform.doc.isv/guide/p2_api_overview.htm

The Plug-in Development Environment Guide is missing
> Tasks > PDE Build Advanced Topics > Compiler options and settings
should be at
http://help.eclipse.org/helios/index.jsp?topic=/org.eclipse.pde.doc.user/tasks/pde_compiler_options.htm

I suspect this may be true for all help coming from the SDK itself. Perhaps an earlier RC candidate was used instead of the final bits, help changes were being made later that code changes.

I've updated from our RC3 install to the 'as released' bits, but those links still don't appear.

Is there a cache?

When I look at
http://help.eclipse.org/helios/index.jsp?topic=/org.eclipse.pde.doc.user/reference/pde_feature_generating_build.htm
it is still different from the version in my Helios Eclipse SDK Help.

The bundle in my install is org.eclipse.pde.doc.user_3.6.0.v20100603-1350.jar

Hmm, I think the issue may have been that the running instance wasn't shutting down(correctly), as I've force killed everything and restarted and those links work.

Looks good to me.
