Description Xiaoxiao Wu CLA 2010-07-14 06:39:08 EDT
Build Identifier: 20100712

We just used the API PlatformUI.getWorkbench( ).getHelpSystem( ).setHelp( control, contextId ) in a certain dialog of BIRT to set the page help contents, the most common way as other dialogs or pages. But it resulted the contents were displayed in mess.

When we tried to debug, we found that the strange behavior seemed to be related to the complex documentation contents.

Please see the attached screen shot.

I think we used the API correctly since all the other pages are behave in the same way.

Reproducible: Always

Correct the build ID which should be R201006141136

How can the problem be reproduced ?
How you attach a snippet that reproduces the problem ?

At this point it is not clear to me that the problem is in SWT, it could be in the application code itself or UI/Forms.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
