Build Identifier: Eclipse Galileo 20090920-1017 RAP: 1.2.2 If an item of a dropdown box was selected using a chracter key followed by loosing the focus (e.g. by clicking onto another widget), the selection is displayed but the value is not forwarded to the Combo widget. Additionally, setting values (e.g. using Combo.setText()) is now not longer possible - until another selection is made using the mouse or arrow and enter keys. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Imagine a dropdown-box with several entries. 2. Drop down the list. 3. Press a character key to select the next occurence of this letter within the list entries (initials). 4. Select another widget by clicking on it. The Combo widget now displays the selected value, but doesn't provide it (e.g. Combo.getText() delivers the previously selected item, not the current one.). Also, there is no SelectionEvent fired.
I can't reproduce it with RAP 1.3 (CVS HEAD). Could you please check it with RAP 1.3?
(In reply to comment #1) > I can't reproduce it with RAP 1.3 (CVS HEAD). Could you please check it with > RAP 1.3? To be honest, I'm not able to do that at the moment. May be in a few days there is time for further checks and analyzations. Regards, Andre
I will close it as WORKSFORME. Please reopen the bug, if the issue persists with 1.3 or CVS HEAD.
