Both should open the editor in "java source compare" mode. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. On a java file in the navigator view, choose Compare with -> Clipboard from contextual menu => opens a compare view in "java source compare" mode 2. I may be wrong, but vanilla Eclipse SDK does not offer ''Compare with > Clipboard'. Do you have extra plug-ins installed?
Oops, I didn't think of that. I checked my configuration and you are right, it comes with an extra plug-in. Sorry.
Is it one of Eclipse projects? If not, I will mark this report as NOT_ECLIPSE.
I think it's not an Eclipse project. The plug-in is "AnyEdit Tools": AnyEdit Tools (c) Copyright Andrei Loskutov. All rights reserved. Visit http://andrei.gmxhome.de
Thanks. Marking it NOT_ECLIPSE.
