Build Identifier: M20100211-1343

Deadlock after saving to Remote Resource (happening with SFTP and FTP).

Upgraded to M20100211-1343 from a Ganymede build and this is still occurring. Also updated to latest x86-64 Sun JRE.

Attached find stack trace.


Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Happens when saving from SFTP as well as FTP.

Has there been any progress on this bug, I am having the exact same problem. I have to destroy the current ftp sessions just to continue saving. This makes using this plugin a big hassle and unusable. If there is anything I can do to get this bug fixed sooner just let me know.

I am pretty sure that this is a duplicate of bug 300394 which has been fixed in RSE 3.2 - please update to a newer version.

In case you still see the issue with RSE 3.2, updating to commons net 2.2 might help as per bug 335346 which you'll get for download with RSE 3.3M5.

PS both issues I mentioned are FTP only issues. In case you really see a hangup with Sftp, please create a thread dump of Sftp hanging:

Well I do not have this deadlock issue anymore. I had been running RSE 3.2 and commons net 2.0 which is what comes with RSE 3.2. So in order to me to update commons net to 2.2, I installed RSE 3.3M5 and now it works great. Thanks for the help.

So you claim that a similar hangup had been observed with 3.2 ? Then this defect is _not_ a duplicate of bug 300394 but apparently fixed in commons net.

I'm still wondering about the Sftp problem reported in comment 0. 

If I don't hear back within a week, I'll mark this as fixed.
