The CleanupSpiritedThread is waiting to receive spirited items to delete but if the spirit option is turned off they wait indefinitely.  Unfortunately, there's currently no proper way for the client to detect whether the server is using spirit or not so for now I just want to limit the waiting of the Cleanup thread.

I've committed a change to cvs.
