Description Daoen Pan CLA 2010-07-06 03:57:10 EDT
Build Identifier: Build id: I20100608-0911

The preference for Colors and Fonts->Text Compare is not persistent between sessions.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Preference Dialog
2. General -> Appearance -> Colors and Fonts
3. Open Text Compare node, change the color of "Outgoing change color"
4. Click Ok to close the preference dialog
5. Restart the Eclipse IDE normally

The setting is not saved.

This works fine to me, checked using the same version (Eclipse classic). Of course, you are free to reopen the bug if you don't think this is an acceptable solution. However, you will have to present a rationale.

Are you sure these are the exact steps you followed? Is the "Outgoing change color" pref the only one that is broken?
