This bug report pertains to the point 1 i.e. *In Ctrl+H Serach: Visible tabs (after using Customized) and file name patterns of filename (*.java, *.xml ...)*

The platform only allows to copy layout and working sets. There is no option to copy dialog settings or preferences.
