Three new versions are now available on the Wiki (32,48,72 px)
if there's anything else, or you need another version for the hover please let me know :)

I made the hover and committed to the Welcome Page on HEAD (8.0). Looks good. c_dev.png image misses a touch of a shade unlike the platform icons though.

Please, note that that hover did not work correctly. The hover image needs to be shifted right and down by one pixel.

I re-close this task. The changes have been committed to 7.0.1 and it looks it's gonna take time if you are to improve the image. Please, open another task if you still want to do that.
