Description Jason Weathersby CLA 2010-07-03 16:59:36 EDT
See attached report. Look at the View Group Page columns. They display correctly in paginated HTML but not PDF. I am using:
<VIEWTIME-VALUE-OF>reportContext.getPageVariable("GROUP_PAGE");</VIEWTIME-VALUE-OF>

Page variables are in HTML page scope. For a same HTML page, the page variable are same.

In PDF, a HTML page may have to be split into several PDF pages because of the limitation of the page size. These PDF pages share same page variable value.

Jun,

None of the pages in html are bigger than the pdf ones. They both have the exact number of pages.

Please verify if it's reproducible in 2.6.1.
Comment 10 JingwenShen CLA 2010-07-20 04:04:47 EDT
Page variable works in run/render mode, and does not work in runAndRender mode now. Please see bug # 276647

Previewing in webviewer uses run/render mode, and previewing in pdf uses runAndRender mode.

If you want to get the correct pdf file with correct page variable. Please preview the report in webviewer first, and then export report to pdf format.
